Richard L. Camann, Esq.
Mr. Camann is an attorney-at-law and long time associate with the law firm of Mavros & Fitzgerald, which was founded in 1962. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his Juris Doctor Degree from New England School of Law. He has been engaged in the general practice of law with an emphasis in real estate, domestic and estate law, personal injury law, civil and criminal litigation, and business law. He appears in all Massachusetts Courts (Superior, District, Probate and Family) as well as the United States District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and several administrative hearing agencies, including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health on behalf of nurses and CNA's who have been unfairly accused of wrongdoing.
Mr. Camann is a seasoned trial attorney and is able to handle each of his cases on a personal basis, yet still have the resources at his disposal to deal with complex and time consuming issues. He is dedicated to providing his clients – individuals, families and businesses – with the highest level of professional legal representation.
Mr. Camann has been an approved attorney for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company (one of the nation’s largest title insurance companies) and its predecessor, Lawyer’s Title Insurance Company, for over thirty (30) years. He has represented numerous local and national banks and lending institutions over the years, as well as hundreds of buyers and sellers in real
estate and business transactions.
Mr. Camann is a member of the Essex County Bar Association and the Greater
Lynn Bar Association and has volunteered his time on a pro bono basis as
a mediator in the District Court and as “lawyer-of-the-day” at the Probate and Family Court.
In his personal life, Mr. Camann is married with a home in Lynnfield,
Massachusetts and is the father of two daughters. He is also a member of several
religious and civic organizations.
